Rough Timeline

Intro –

RL. Girl is sat in living room drawing. Shows picture she drew of her and boy looking happy as the animation characters. Piano starts.

0:00 – 0:12 – 12 seconds -

RL. Boy comes in and tries to kiss her on the cheek but she dodges. He then tries to sit next to her so she gets up and leaves.

EA. Introduces the animation woman but she’s half ice sculpture. On her own.

0:12 – 0:25 – 13 seconds –

RL. Follows girl into bedroom and shows older drawing.

SA. Shows couple being happy.

0:25 – 0:38 – 13 seconds –

RL. Boy knocks on the door. The girl ignores him.

0:38 – 0:44 – 6 seconds – CUT OUT.

0:44 – 0:51 – 7 seconds –

SA. Boy meets other woman (who’s a witch/villain). Falls in love.

0:51 – 1:03 – 12 seconds –

RL. Boy continues knocking on the door.

1:03 – 1:17 – 14 seconds –

SA. The girl sees the boy and the witch together.

1:17 – 1:28 – 11 seconds –

RL. The boy’s phone goes off in the room. The girl checks it and looks furious.

1:28 – 1:52 – 24 seconds – CUT OUT.

1:52 – 2:19 – 27 seconds –

SA. Girl fights with the boy in the same room as EA. Witch watches.

RL. Girl opens the door and yells at boy.

2:19 – 2:32 – 13 seconds – CUT OUT.

2:32 – 2:46 – 14 seconds –

SA. The witch steps forward and starts fighting with the girl.

RL. Boy leaves. The girl goes back to the bed and cries.

2:46 – 3:00 – 20 seconds – Parallel editing.

SA. Witch pushes the girl into the chair as the boy watches horrified. She freezes he girl into the half ice sculpture in EA.

RL. The girl cries on the bed as the boy walks away angrily.

3:00 – 3:11 – 11 seconds -

EA. Girl frozen. Boy runs out of building. Witch walks away coldly.

RL. Boy walks away coldly. Girl gets up and starts rummaging through the drawings.

3:11 – 3:43 – 32 seconds –

EA. Fades to black as RL woman rips them up.
